What you’ll do
- Manage the full product flow from contract manufacturers to receiving warehouses
- Hold supplier calls on production status and raw/packaging material availability; keep PO promise dates
- Prepare monthly and weekly production plans for assigned SKUs from the demand plan and monitor attainment
- Coordinate PR/PO generation against the 6-month demand plan and share POs with suppliers
- Join new-launch and transition projects and schedule NPD trials
- Plan inventory builds for events and promotions with demand, project and marketing teams
- Review monthly supplier scorecards and share production forecasts with suppliers
- Follow up NCRs and product exceptions raised by Quality with suppliers
- Update ASCP/ERP work orders and coordinate dispatch planning
- Write SOPs and improve planning processes
What the employer asks for
- Graduate with production-planning experience, or MBA in supply chain management
- 5–7 years in production, supply or FG planning
- APICS certification in production planning and inventory management preferred
- Experience with Oracle, SAP or another ERP
- FMCG, nutraceutical or pharmaceutical experience with reputed companies or MNCs
- Strong follow-up and cross-functional coordination skills
