Employer guidelines

How to share a food-sector vacancy on FSD Jobs, what we check before it goes live, and what we never publish. Posting is free.

Who can post

Food companies, laboratories, research institutions, universities, public-sector bodies and authorised recruiters hiring for food-sector roles in India, plus Master's, PhD and postdoctoral openings worldwide. Vacancies are added by the FSD editorial team. To have a vacancy considered, send the official notice or careers-page link through Contact.

What every submission needs

  • A link to the original notice on your own website or an official recruitment portal, and the link where candidates apply.
  • The exact job title, employer and work location.
  • The qualifications and experience you actually require, in the notice's own words.
  • The deadline, if there is one, and any reporting time or venue for walk-in interviews.
  • Pay as published. If you do not disclose pay, we show “Not disclosed”. For internships we show whether they are paid or unpaid.

What we check

  • An editor compares your submission with the original notice and application page before publishing.
  • A “Company verified” or “FSD verified” badge is added only when a specific official notice confirms the vacancy. A homepage or a social media post alone is not enough.
  • We may correct wording to match the notice, add a deadline note, or decline a submission. Editors decide the category and work area.
  • Submissions you send are “Pending” until reviewed. You can follow them under My vacancy submissions.

What we never publish

  • Any vacancy that charges candidates a fee, deposit, training charge or “registration” to apply, interview or join. Official application fees set by public recruitment bodies are stated as published.
  • Vacancies that are fake, already filled, misleading about the employer, role, location or pay, or that collect personal data for another purpose.
  • Requirements that discriminate unlawfully on caste, religion, gender, marital status, disability or similar grounds.
  • Multi-level marketing, commission-only sales disguised as salaried roles, or “work from home” schemes without a real employer.
  • Vacancies outside our scope: non-food roles, and international industry or government roles.

After publication

  • Listings close automatically after the stated deadline (Indian Standard Time). If a role is filled early or changed, email us and we will update or close it.
  • Candidates apply on your website or in the way your notice describes. FSD does not collect or forward CVs.
  • Your company page shows your published vacancies, published pay and approved candidate reviews. Employers cannot pay to remove or reorder reviews; see the community guidelines.
  • Your logo is shown only to identify your organisation. To have it changed or removed, email us from an official address.
  • The optional contact email on a submission is visible only to our editors.
