What we collect
- Account details — depending on how you sign up:
- Email and password: your name, email and password. Passwords are stored hashed; we never see or store them in plain text.
- Google sign-in: your name, email address and Google account ID, shared by Google with your permission. We do not receive your Google password.
- Phone sign-in: your mobile number, and a one-time code that is stored hashed and expires within minutes.
- Exam preferences — the exams you tell us you are preparing for, so your dashboard shows the right tests.
- Test activity — which tests you attempt, your answers, time per question, answer changes, scores and attempt history, so your dashboard, rank, analysis and answer review work.
- Your own study data — bookmarks, notes, study settings and goals you save.
- Optional feedback — ratings and written comments you submit after tests or at logout. Our team uses these to improve questions and the site; they are not published on your profile.
- Payment records — order and payment IDs from Razorpay for tests and bundles you buy. We never receive your card, UPI ID or bank details; Razorpay handles those directly.
- Technical and usage data — server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and debugging, and, where enabled, analytics described below.
Cookies and analytics
- Session cookie — one essential cookie keeps you logged in. The site does not work without it.
- Google Analytics 4 — when enabled, it counts page visits and how people move through the site, using cookies set by Google.
- Microsoft Clarity — when enabled, it records anonymised clicks, scrolling and page interactions so we can see where pages confuse people. By default Clarity masks what you type into form fields.
- Google Ads — when enabled, it measures whether an ad led to a visit or sign-up.
You can block or clear these cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking the analytics cookies does not affect tests, scores or payments.
How we use it
- To run your account, save your attempts, and show your scores, section breakdown, analysis and rank.
- To compute leaderboards, ranks and percentiles against other students who took the same test or exam.
- To process payments through Razorpay and confirm what has been unlocked.
- To send you account emails and SMS (sign-in codes, password resets, receipts) and, occasionally, announcements about the exams you prepare for. Reply to any announcement to stop receiving them.
- To respond when you contact us, and to fix problems you report.
Personal data is not sold, and is not shared with advertisers.
Support access to your account
To investigate a problem you report, or to check how a page looks for a real student, an authorised administrator can view the site as a particular account sees it. They cannot see your password or payment details. A banner is shown for the whole session, and every such access is logged with the administrator, the account and the time.
Leaderboards
By default your name can appear on a test's leaderboard next to your score. You can turn this off at any time from the Account section of the dashboard. Your attempts still count toward rank and percentile, without your name shown to others.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the site, each for its own purpose:
- Razorpay — payments (Razorpay privacy policy).
- Google — Google sign-in, and Analytics/Ads when enabled (Google privacy policy).
- Microsoft — Clarity, when enabled (Microsoft privacy statement).
- MSG91 — delivering sign-in codes by SMS to your phone number.
- Hostinger — hosting the site and its database, and sending email.
We disclose data to authorities only where Indian law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account and test data are kept while your account exists, because your history, trends and rank depend on it. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete its personal data. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- ask us to correct or complete it;
- withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your account and its data;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you;
- raise a grievance with us, and, if it is not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
You can hide your name from leaderboards yourself from your dashboard at any time.
Children
The site is meant for graduate and university students preparing for recruitment and entrance exams. If you are under 18, use it with a parent's or guardian's consent.
