- Teach courses in post-harvest technology and management of horticultural produce
- Conduct research on post-harvest handling, storage and processing
- Take up other academic duties assigned by the university
What the employer asks for
- Master's degree in Post-Harvest Management / Post-Harvest Technology, or in Horticulture / Agriculture with specialisation in Post-Harvest Technology or Management, with at least 55% marks
- B.Sc. Horticulture or B.Sc. Agriculture with at least 55% marks
- NET (ICAR/UGC/CSIR) or SLET/SET, or a Ph.D. awarded as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016, or a Ph.D. from a top-500 ranked foreign university
- Age 18 to 40 years on the last date (5 years relaxation for OBC, SC, ST and PwD)
- Two posts, both reserved for OBC
Selection process
- Screening on Academic Score (Table 3A, Appendix II, UGC Regulations 2018) plus written test of domain knowledge (Phase I)
- Presentation and interview (Phase II)
- Final selection on Phase II performance only
