QA/QC Executive (Peanut Processing)
Shree Gopal Agri (SHREGO), which makes groundnuts, roasted peanuts and peanut products, is hiring a QA/QC Executive at its Changodar facility near Ahmedabad. What you’ll do
- Inspect incoming groundnuts, raw materials and packaging materials
- Monitor quality through processing, roasting, seasoning and packing
- Carry out in-process and finished product inspections
- Check moisture, appearance, size, colour, taste, foreign matter and other parameters
- Keep daily quality records and inspection reports
- Identify deviations and work with production on corrective actions
- Ensure hygiene, sanitation, cleaning and food safety on the factory floor
- Support HACCP, GMP and other food safety procedures
- Investigate customer complaints, find root causes and support CAPA
- Support internal audits, train workers on quality and hygiene, and make sure products meet standards before dispatch
What the employer asks for
- Qualification in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or a related field
- Hands-on peanut or groundnut processing experience is mandatory
- Experience with peanuts, dry fruits, namkeen, snacks or similar products preferred
- Practical knowledge of quality inspection, process control and documentation
- Basic understanding of HACCP, GMP and food safety
- Willing to work on the factory floor
