What you’ll do
- Operate and maintain utilities: electrical sub-station with HT/LT panels, DG sets, water supply and softening plant, and effluent treatment plant
- Work with the production team on maintenance of all dairy equipment, and supervise and record product volumes
- Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules
- Ensure industrial safety norms and monitor sanitation and hygiene in all plant areas
- Prepare and check daily utility and production reports
- Monitor and control fuel and power use and suggest energy-saving measures
- Maintain spare parts and consumables stock and raise indents on time
- Monitor production activities, including milk packing and milk products
- Liaise with the Factory Inspector, Boiler Inspector, Electrical Inspector and Pollution Control Board
- Install, test and commission new equipment and help implement quality systems
What the employer asks for
- Full-time 3-year diploma in mechanical engineering
- At least 3 years of full-time operation and maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably dairy or food
- Age not above 33 years as on 1 October (relaxation up to 3 years possible)
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP/SAP and internet applications
Pay, benefits and perks
- CTC ₹5.71 lakh a year including PF and other fixed and variable components (negotiable)
- Annual performance-based pay increase as per rules
