Lead Auditor – Food Certification (Ahmedabad)

What you’ll do
- Audit food businesses for certification against food safety schemes such as BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 and ISO 9001
- Assess food processing, hazard analysis and prerequisite programmes at audited sites
- Review quality assurance and quality control systems of client sites
What the employer asks for
- Degree in food or a related science subject
- At least 5 years in the food industry in production or quality control
- Completed lead auditor courses in BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 and/or ISO 9001
- Lead auditor training in ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and BRCGS Food
- Two-day HACCP course
- Food defence and food fraud training, with exam
- Training in the relevant PRPs (ISO/TS 22002 series), with exam
- Knowledge of food processing, hazard analysis and prerequisite programmes
- Thorough knowledge of quality assurance and quality control systems
- Good communication skills
