Smartedge Consulting is hiring Associate Consultants in Hyderabad across five practices, including Food Safety Management Systems, QMS, integrated management systems, EHS and ESG. What you’ll do
- Assist senior consultants on consulting and implementation assignments
- Collect and analyse client information and records
- Prepare reports, presentations, procedures, SOPs and other deliverables
- Take part in client assessments, site visits and internal audits
- Coordinate with clients on implementation progress and maintain project documents
- Support client training and awareness programmes
- Food safety practice: help implement ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP and BRCGS systems and prepare hazard analyses and HACCP plans
- Food safety practice: develop prerequisite programmes, SOPs and food safety records
- Food safety practice: assist with hygiene inspections, food safety assessments, traceability, allergen management and verification
- Food safety practice: coordinate implementation and certification readiness
What the employer asks for
- 0–3 years of experience; fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged
- For the food safety practice: B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology or Biotechnology
- Other practices: engineering, environmental science, sustainability or related degrees
- 1–3 years in consulting, manufacturing, quality, EHS, food safety, environmental management or sustainability preferred
- Exposure to ISO implementation, internal audits, safety inspections or certification projects is an advantage
- Good analytical, communication and report-writing skills
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Willing to travel to client locations and industrial sites
