Production Engineer - Sauce and Ketchup

What you’ll do
- Plan daily production against targets and sales requirements
- Run the full line: pulping, cooking, mixing, homogenising, filling and packing
- Monitor Brix, pH, viscosity and temperature during cooking, and hold cooking time and sterilisation temperature for shelf life
- Make sure the standard recipe is followed for every batch and control loss, rework and wastage
- Manage shift operators, helpers and fitters and train workers on machines
- Enforce GMP, safety and hygiene on the shop floor
- Coordinate preventive maintenance of kettles, pulpers and filling machines and ensure CIP cleaning and sanitation
- Follow HACCP, ISO 22000 and FSSAI guidelines
- Maintain daily production, batch and yield reports and raw material and finished goods stock reports
