What you’ll do
- Run shift activity for edible oil refinery, hydrogenation and fractionation plants
- Reduce repairs and maintenance cost and keep safety indices on target
- Keep utilities, chemical and manpower consumption within budget
- Reduce variable cost at the refinery and boiler house
- Improve section efficiency and reduce downtime, using Kaizen
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports and review refinery standards
What the employer asks for
- B.Tech in Oil Technology or Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years in an edible oil refinery
- Knowledge of solvent extraction, soya and palm oil processing, separators and packing (tins, jars, bottles, pouches)
- Knowledge of Legal Metrology, FSSAI, inventory and manpower management; ERP preferred
