New Product Development Lead – Food

What you’ll do
- Develop new bakery, bread, confectionery and other food products to brand needs, customer preferences and market trends
- Take products from idea and recipe trials through sensory evaluation and standardisation to launch, and track post-launch performance
- Work with vendors to develop recipes for batch and commercial production and monitor vendor quality
- Maintain standard recipes, product specifications and preparation guidelines across CCD, CDS and CDX
- Run sensory evaluations of taste, texture, aroma, presentation and consistency and fix quality issues
- Monitor frozen food production schedules and quality, and optimise recipes, processes and raw material use to cut wastage
- Write and implement SOPs for preparation, production, storage, handling and service, including for CDX outlets
- Run train-the-trainer and on-the-job training for outlet teams and prepare training materials
- Visit outlets to check implementation and support teams
- Coordinate with food and beverage, operations, procurement and quality teams on launches and improvements
