What you’ll do
- Carry out QA/QC of raw materials, packing materials and end-of-line finished goods and report findings to the unit head
- Run microbiological analysis of raw materials and finished goods
- Ensure online QC at line start-up and changeover, from water treatment to final packaging
- Plan and carry out calibration and maintenance of lab equipment
- Implement SPC/SQC and the quality index at site
- Analyse customer and consumer complaint samples, analyse non-conformities, set CAPA and issue corrective action requests to vendors
- Ensure compliance with food laws and that ENA from vendors meets company standards
- Work with NPD on new products, standards and SOPs and share knowledge at the unit
- Communicate EHS standards, coordinate monthly EHS meetings, track EHS KPIs and compile accident MIS with root-cause analysis
- Blend spirits by calculating alcohol-to-water ratios, weighing ingredients, transferring bulk spirits without cross-contamination, ordering wet materials, inspecting tanks and barrels, preparing blending and tank reports and taking monthly inventory of ENA, GNS, MRS and process materials
