West Bengal Public Service Commission Food Processing Development Officer (Directorate of Food Processing Industries) 2027

The West Bengal Public Service Commission is recruiting Food Processing Development Officers for the Directorate of Food Processing Industries under Advertisement 21/2024; the detailed advertisement, scheme and syllabus have not yet been published.

The Food Processing Development Officer (FPDO) is a West Bengal government post in the Directorate of Food Processing Industries, under the Department of Food Processing Industries and Horticulture, and one of the few state posts that asks specifically for a food technology or food processing degree. WBPSC indicated the recruitment as Advertisement 21/2024 and listed it in its 2025 calendar, but the detailed advertisement with the number of posts, eligibility, scheme and syllabus has not appeared. Coaching sites describe selection as a written or screening test followed by an interview, as for other WBPSC technical posts; this is not yet official.
