Uttarakhand Food Safety Officer 2026

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission recruits Food Safety Officers for the state's food-safety administration. The selection process assesses Food Technology and General Studies and includes an interview.

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission conducts this recruitment examination for Food Safety Officer posts. The three-hour written examination contains 200 MCQs across Food Technology and General Studies and is followed by a 25-mark interview.

Who can apply

A degree in Food Technology satisfies the prescribed educational qualification for Food Safety Officer posts in India. Rule 2.1.3 of the Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011 defines this qualification at the national level.

Degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology
or an M.Sc in Chemistry, or a degree in Medicine
Plus the training the Food Authority specifies, at a recognised institute
