The Prelims only screens candidates for the Mains; its marks do not count in the final merit list. The descriptive Food Technology paper of the Mains is not part of these mocks.

Marking scheme

1 mark for a correct answer; a wrong answer loses one third of a mark. Unanswered questions carry no penalty. The 2018-19 Information Bulletin sets "negative marking @ 33%" for the Prelims; for the 2023-24 cycle coaching sites report the same one-third penalty, but the notification text we could read does not state it. An unanswered question scores zero. Our mocks for this exam are scored the same way.
