JKSSB FSO & Food Analyst syllabus 0
JKSSB notified the syllabi on 28 March 2022. The Food Safety Officer syllabus has ten parts totalling 120 marks, and the Assistant Food Analyst syllabus has seven parts totalling 120 marks. Both papers on this site (17 and 20 February 2025) have 120 questions, with a deduction of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
Exam pattern and marking
- Objective multiple-choice questions only, set in English; negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer (Advt. 02/2021, para 9, and the syllabus notice).
- Food Safety Officer (Annexure 4): ten parts of 10 to 15 marks, 120 marks in all.
- Assistant Food Analyst (Annexure 12): seven parts of 15 to 20 marks, 120 marks in all.
- Exam duration is not stated in the notices read; the papers on this site run 120 minutes.

A dash means that paper had no such section — not that the figure is missing. The board has renamed and reorganised the sections between sittings, so the columns are the union of every taxonomy it has used. Candidates should therefore prepare the underlying subjects rather than relying on one year's section labels.
