Every section is compulsory, with no choice between them, and the paper is timed at 150 minutes.
| Section | Questions | Marks | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Paper I - General Studies & Aptitude | 100 | 100 | Compulsory |
| Paper II - Food Science & Technology | 100 | 100 | Compulsory |
| Paper total | — | 200 |
Paper I and Paper II are both compulsory — there is no optional section to choose.
A wrong answer loses one-fourth of the question's marks (−0.25 on a 1-mark question, −0.5 on a 2-mark question). An unanswered question scores zero. Our mocks for this exam are scored the same way.
